facingeast Offline Points:30 Posts: 2 | Oh My God! 2nd Birthday at Opus Overall rating: Danny Byrd played a decent liquid set (including a couple of his own tunes - Red Mist and Goldrush) to a room which wasn't very full, but had some energy to it. We left for a pint at Oyster Bar (probably missed Coki), and got back for Spor and Chris Renegade, who played a nice variety of dirty and liquid, but sadly didn't venture into darker, grimier realms (probably because the crowd prefer the lighter stuff). Grooverider's set was generally pretty good, and the crowd by this point was as dense and energetic as you'd expect at a typical DnB event. Solid night overall. | ||||||||||||||

junglegirl Offline Points:28 Posts: 1 | oh my god il never go again Overall rating:  i had the worst nite. i travel all over the uk and europe to different raves but that was the worst .it was mainly idiots not ravers the mcs chatted nonsence . fearles was texting on stage after arriving over half hour late and daren jay was spi8nning vocal tunes so fearles had no space. it was bad !!no atmosphere. i was glad it ended. please find a venue outside the print works and choose your mcs carefully.and dont mix dance with bass it dont work!! bar staff were lovely friendly and polite oh and cloak room staff. | ||||||||||||||

Room2 was a bit cack sound quality wise, and I gather the PA died during the night, but a cracking night in the main room once the DnB really got going after midnight. Drinks promoted all night at £1.50, that was a cup of beer that seemingly ran out after the first hour... This is like the third time in a row OMG nights have put out a line up where the main act/s simply aren't there. According to dirtyphonics myspace, they had no intention of being there. It's a bit shite that people are paying like 8£ to come see people who have no intention of showing up. In fact, it's fraud. I know this happens regularly at nights and it can't be helped, but come on.. Can't wait for Spor, but will he even be there? Do I want to pay again for a ticket for artists that have no idea they are even on the ticket? Nope. I dont want to pay 8 pound for random residents and I know i'm not the only one. It's a shame as it's a really promising promotion and all involved had a really good night and at the end of the day that's what it's all about. However feel really fucking cheated. Dirtyphonics/Current value??????????????? hi Randall was on at 10pm on the main stage playing a jtek set with me mcing to him Current Value was on in room two from 1am till 2:15 thats was the down stairs arena unfortunatly dirtyphonics had problems with flights but we brought in SIGMA and PHANTASY to smash up the Dance floor hope this clears a few things Can anyone tell me who the act were with a female singer with a wicked voice was. They were on in the main room around 1.30 am at a rough guess James G was the DJ Kimira the singer and Me the MC and yes she is awesome what a wicked night tho over 1000 ravers no attitude wicked vibes i realy enjoyed it bring on spor ed rush & optical on the 28th | ||||||||||||||
