Comedy night

The comedians were all very different which made the night great.
The staff were helpful and it was well organised.
I've already recommended it to a friend.

Spor and Grooverider blew my mind and the sound was so so so much better than the last time i was at opus. loved how much original sin got played, bastard killer was THE tune of the night. all my mates and me have been humming it since we left the venue. truly unbelievable night

Huge night

The night was amazing from start to finish.
Reallly good atmostphere, plenty of good people to get skank on with.
Personally Spor smashed up the place!
Lookin forward to the next one

Oh My God! 2nd Birthday at Opus

Danny Byrd played a decent liquid set (including a couple of his own tunes - Red Mist and Goldrush) to a room which wasn't very full, but had some energy to it. We left for a pint at Oyster Bar (probably missed Coki), and got back for Spor and Chris Renegade, who played a nice variety of dirty and liquid, but sadly didn't venture into darker, grimier realms (probably because the crowd prefer the lighter stuff). Grooverider's set was generally pretty good, and the crowd by this point was as dense and energetic as you'd expect at a typical DnB event. Solid night overall.

Birthday business

Oh My God pulled all the stops out for this one and it didnt disapoint Danny Byrd was Amazing Sigma was sick Spor & chris Renegade tour the place apart Grooverider destroyed the Dance Floor

Makoto and Deeizm was great Coki was Late the people the ravers where spot on OMG Forever baby

after seeing bar 9 previously, this was no let down. the bass was pumping, i could feel my brain vibrating! shame Nero pulled out tho :(.

opus is not a good venue

bass in the main room was too loud and too quiet in the 2nd. Sappo wasn't great either. bar9 is definitely worth seeing again next time, just hope that it isn't at opus.

The best crowd of people ever, Excellent event, will go again defo.

Top night!!
Atmosphere was spot on, everyone was just there for one thing and that was the music great!
no trouble, no messing everyone smiling and having a top one!
will defo be there at the next one top job lads great mixing!

oh my god il never go again

i had the worst nite. i travel all over the uk and europe to different raves but that was the worst .it was mainly idiots not ravers the mcs chatted nonsence . fearles was texting on stage after arriving over half hour late and daren jay was spi8nning vocal tunes so fearles had no space. it was bad !!no atmosphere. i was glad it ended. please find a venue outside the print works and choose your mcs carefully.and dont mix dance with bass it dont work!! bar staff were lovely friendly and polite oh and cloak room staff.

A good night was had by all but i think there was just a little too much jungle in the main room.....before u say well what did u expect from the line up !! yes i know but darren jay could have played Drum n Bass......good set by Heist in the 2 nd room..

In all a good warm up for Matter in a few weeks 7th August

We went to see Qemists and Jenna G.
They didn't turn up.
We weren't told until 1.30am that they wouldn't be there.
This was the response to my complaint:
"I can imagine that must have been really dissapointing! :( Unfortunatley, you are not entitled to a refund though as the event still went ahead."

Even though I'd just come back from Bang Face Weekender, this was still awesome. Room2 was a bit cack sound quality wise, and I gather the PA died during the night, but a cracking night in the main room once the DnB really got going after midnight. ER&O and Spor were brilliant but I can't figure out why they both chose to finish a tearout DnB set by playing a rather unimpressive dubstep tune?
