Medina, Covent Garden in London

Right in the heart of Covent Garden you will find this Gem of a restaurant. It has the usual kasbah look, with terracotta walls, ample tiling and well-stuffed divans – but there’s plenty more going for it. Service is professional and attentive. Maghrebi music played at just the right volume, giving a party feel without being overwhelming. From a wide range of starters, they have traditional merguez and chicken briouats. As well as the usual couscous and tagine options, there are several vegetarian dishes.
