I have had some bad NYE parties, but you've really managed to top them. That is the level of stupidity the organisers of this event possess. I cannot think of anyone more dim and selfish than the greedy pigs that were behind the scenes of this party. Well done, you have managed to spoil so many people's night. Well done for not informing and helping all those people waiting in the dark, wondering what is actually going on. You should be crowned world's biggest jack ass and kicked out of the London scene forever. Never the less I am sure you are going to get what you deserve for messing up this badly. I have no doubt about it.

Waste of a New Years Eve

Paid good money to get into this place on NYE the other night, Turned up at 11:30 PM to a mob (not even a queue) of people outside. Venue stopped letting in people, police were called e.t.c. Don't think I'll ever be going again and will be demanding my money back for a huge letdown. Luckily plenty of other places to go around Brick Lane so we didn't miss the countdown. How could Cafe 1001 make the mistake of overselling their tickets by so much I ask?!

Overselling of tickets

I was not able to get in because of the overselling of tickets and luckily made the most out of the night ourselves. But surely they should know the amount of people that bought tickets and that they shouldn't of let people who hadn't booked in advance if there wasn't any room for the people who did. I heard that the club wasn't even half full when you shut the gates and the gates never opened again the whole night.

What a joke been on your Facebook page posted 3 comments and hey presto you find the time to delete comments what a disgrace paid my tickets to be met with a mob and police clashing due to your incompetence how the hell did you get licensing was it from the Internet to be man handled and to witness people being crushed and injured I will be pursuing my full refund also have contacted promoters not to use this venue also spoke to dj brockie who didn't even gain entry himself that just says it about this organisation and I would suggest anybody that brought tickets make sure you get your money back and don't let these scamsters get away with there little scam

Overbooked rip-off

Spent £22.50 on my ticket in advance and turned up before midnight hoping to get in before the New Year to find a crowd of angry people stuck outside in the cold.

Turns out Cafe 1001 was overcrowded, so they had closed the shutter and no one was getting in.
Easily 100 people stuck outside with no hope of getting their New Years Eve party back. Ruined night for all, and what's worse is that Cafe 1001 has made a cool £20 from each one of us.
Would never go again.

My terrible New Year

Would never go again. First time going to this club last night, chose it other numerous other new year events, called up an confirmed with the staff of the venue 2 days beforehand that we'd get in at the time we arrived and they said that was fine. Turned up and they weren't letting anybody in. Needless to say I'll never be coming back to this place, what a great way to ruin a load of people's New Year.
