Iambic Arts Theatre

Our purpose built boutique theatre is in the centre of the North Laine, and we would like to think it is an almost perfect theatre, in miniature! As such, it has a fixed stage, a permanent dressing room, as well as a dedicated control box, good sound system, and an intimate warm atmosphere. The seating is simply tiered and comfortable , and there is a licensed bar, en suite to the theatre, complete with interesting paintings. Founded by Emma D’Arcy, & with a direct affiliation with Pentameters Theatre in Hampstead, our aim is to bring high quality new plays, as well as classic revivals, exceptional poetry, and select music events. There are also inspirational classes,workshops, some with an metaphysical bias, some artistic. Emma D’Arcy, the Artistic Director of Iambic Arts, comes from a theatrical background and is a performance poet.
