This January sees The 3 Kings of House - David Morales, Louie Vega and Tony Humphries - hit Electric Brixton for a UK premiere of Bilblical proportions with house institution Hard Times.
Date published: 8th Jan 2013
This showcase will be the first ever of its sort in the UK, with the three bona fide legends having played together only twice before - once in Miami and once in New York.
90s clubbing institution Hard Times has made quite a comeback in recent months, having thrown five sell out parties in Leeds since June 2012 featuring the likes of Todd Terry, Kenny Dope and Marshall Jefferson.
For this rare showcase Hard Times will return to London - the scene of its now legendary 1993 party which saw over 30 international house superstars come together - this time bringing with them three undisputed house heavyweights who'll co-headline at Electric Brixton.
Hard Times founder Steve Raine said “London has always been very kind to Hard Times and always understood the ethos behind it. The city always appreciated the music we represented which is why when London called; we couldn’t resist coming back with a very special event. This is the first of a number of parties planned for London and I can’t wait to get back there. 2012 was all about what Hard Times was; I firmly believe 2013 is about what we are now and what we will be.“
This really is going to be an unmissable event, and the first ever clash on UK shores of these three house music titans.
