The iconic Leeds Warehouse will be home to the ever impressive Shine on November 1st, which enlists a bulging line up of house and techno legends to soundtrack its third birthday celebrations (check out the highlights from Shine's last party below).
Taking charge of the special occasion will be the legendary duo X-Press 2. Having first risen to underground prominence through tracks 'Muzik Express' (relive that classic below) and 'London Xpress', the duo went on the enjoy further plaudits through both their mesmerizing multi-decked 12 turntable sets and productions that straddled both the underground and the mainstream. They make music for the dancefloor, pure and simple, and they're bloody good at it.
Joining X-Press 2 will be another duo pivotal in the UK underground - Terry Farley and Pete Heller. Whilst both have enjoyed mega success individually, as a double team they have been responsible for some of UK house music's finest moments, with a string of releases on labels like Junior Boy's Own and Feel The Rhythm.
Now well entrenched as one the UK house music's most pivotal duos, expect a belting set of classic cuts stitched together masterfully, as heard in their superb Essential Mix below.
Elsewhere, the line up is bolstered by both Justin Robertson and CJ Mackintosh, who return after blowing apart Shine's second birthday last year, with Miss Moneypennies' Jim Shaft Ryan also called in to provide a reliably sterling selection of classic house. Grab your Shine birthday tickets here.
