News in from the north of the border, as Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2013 sees even more names added to an already bulging bill. Top of the line-up additions are Alabama 3, whose clandestine clash of Celtic, folk, electro and nigh on everything else makes them the perfect choice for the festivals natural focus on the inherent music genres of the region.
The Brixton based group will bring their multi-faceted sound and approach to headline the Friday night on the Hothouse Stage. The festival has also announced Malcolm Middleton to take centre stage on Saturday night on the Black Isle Brewery Grassroots Stage. The previously announced guests included James, Seasick Steve, Twin Atlantic and The Horrors.
This year, in a move which should make the necessary but undesired process of queuing for drinks that little less stressful, festivalgoers can buy e-tokens for their bar tokens in advance and exchange them on the way in at the box offices, as well as at the usual tokens booth at the event. There are also tickets available for the Portaloo Sunset posh toilets which will be sited at the top of the Red Campsite, near Mother’s Ruin. All these are available here on Skiddle.
Tickets are no longer available for this event
