Sound the line up klaxon - Reading & Leeds Festivals have announced a full half century of new additions to their line up, joining the already announced quartet of headliners Queens Of The Stone Age, Paramore, Arctic Monkeys and Blink-182.

With a mere 12 weeks to go until the gates open at each gathering, the line up manages to cover the rock, indie, punk, dance, alternative, grime and hip-hop with which the festivals have become permanently intertwined with.

Some of the key names include ex-My Chemical Romance front man Gerard Way, in his first ever solo UK show, hip-hop impressario Schoolboy Q (watch his 'Man of the year' above), New York based funk rockers We are Scientists and the urban troubadour Maverick Sabre.

Also playing will be Aussie thrash-pop duo DZ Deathrays and emotive screamo titans La Dispute, with electronic music served well by the additions of chart topping D&B sensations Sigma and UK bass music superhero Mistajam. You can see the full line up here
