About

the vision of dalhalla as a music arena was awakened in 1991 when margaret dellefors, a former opera singer, discovered the abandoned quarry along with rättvik’s former cultural affairs. in the current situation dalhalla presents a combination of opera, choral, jazz and popular music. previous performances include kraftwerk, arcade fire and sigur rós, to name but a few.
