Anima's Annual Boxing Day Event @ The Conister Arms

Welcome to our 3rd Anima Boxing Day event!! We are so pleased to announce yet another incredible lineup of both top local selectors with the addition of a familiar face, now UK resident. Having sold out early in previous years we expect it will be the same again, so don't hold back on grabbing yours, after all three is the magic number.

This year we are also changing up the venue to allow for more people to get down and enjoy the lowest priced drinks in Douglas. On the 3rd floor of The Conister Arms you will find a party like no other, as always we give you the opportunity to experience a night of unprecedented bangers from start to finish. Ranging from disco/funky/classic house to minimal/tech-house and deeper, we aim to explore whatever will keep the dance floor stomping.

Our headliner of the night is non other than our BURG. The pure talent this guy holds in those skinny fingers is quite the spectacle. Having spent the last 3 years as an Anima resident DJ he has grown in both soundscape and technical ability, showcasing exactly what it means to be part of the family. Ranging from groovy, classic house daytime spinners to peak time gun finger bangers, this guy has it all locked down. BURG will be spending 2 hours blowing your brand new Xmas socks right off, good luck CK.

Starting off the night we have the one and only Allan Vannin, known for taking his sets through the most unexpected of turns, Mr. Vannin will be playing a selection of funky old school house strictly on vinyl records. You won't want to miss this 2 hour set of pure house magic. So anyone old enough to remember the 90's or anyone young enough to be discovering these tunes for the very first time, enjoy the brilliance of beautifully timeless music.

YEARDOS who need no introduction will be taking the next slot with promises to expand into groovy, funky hot 2 steppers to take the party up a notch. With their incredible ability to connect with the crowd and bring the energy be sure to arrive way before last entry to catch these two take the lid off of the islands first disco spoons.

Last but by no means least, who is this familiar face, now UK resident I hear you ask? It's our dear friend FIONN. Now a Manx legend known for creating some of the most incredible moments at events all over the island, he really doesn't need an introduction. Having closed out Anima's first event in ridiculous style we couldn't think of anyone better to do his best work 3 years on.
