York Dungeon Standard Admission at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York's darkest history. The experience uses live actors, immersive sets and special effects to bring the city's murky past to life, with scenes that let you see, hear and smell the stories being told.

Along the way, you meet Vikings, their Saxon enemies and notorious figures from York's history including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington. The experience also covers the Black Death and the torture chamber as it brings York's history to life.
