About York Dungeon - Anytime Entry
York Dungeon - Anytime Entry at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history in an immersive walk-through experience. With live actors, dark history, immersive sets and special effects, it presents the city’s past through theatrical scenes and characters.
Along the way, you meet Vikings and learn about their Saxon enemies, then encounter figures including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington. The experience also includes the Black Death and a torture chamber, giving a detailed look at some of York’s more notorious stories.
The experience is designed to bring history to life through performance and special effects, with a route through York’s murkier past.
Key facts: The experience is suitable for ages 5 and over. It is not recommended for under 8s.

Younger visitors must be aged 5 or over. York Dungeon is not recommended for children under 8.
