York Dungeon - Anytime Entry at York Dungeon takes visitors through 2,000 years of York’s darkest history. The experience uses live actors, immersive sets and special effects to present scenes from the city’s past in a theatrical format.
Along the way, you encounter the Vikings and their Saxon enemies, as well as figures including Guy Fawkes and local witch Isabella Billington. The experience also covers the Black Death and a torture chamber, with sights, sounds and smells used as part of the presentation.

Younger visitors must be aged 5 or over. York Dungeon is not recommended for under 8s.
