About York Dungeon - Anytime Entry
York Dungeon - Anytime Entry takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history, with live actors, immersive sets and special effects bringing the city’s past to life. The experience moves through scenes featuring Vikings and their Saxon enemies, as well as well-known local figures such as Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington.
The journey also covers the Black Plague and the fearsome torture chamber, using performance and effects to present York’s “’orrible” history in an entertaining way. It is designed to be seen, heard and even smelled as you move through the attraction.
