York Dungeon - Anytime Entry at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York's darkest history. The experience uses live actors, immersive sets and special effects to bring the city’s murky past to life.
The journey includes the Vikings and their Saxon enemies, as well as figures such as Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington. It also covers the Black Death and a torture chamber as part of the attraction’s history-focused route.
As you move through the Dungeon, you see, hear and smell scenes from York’s past. The experience is designed as a mix of live performance and historical storytelling.
