About York Dungeon - Anytime Entry
York Dungeon - Anytime Entry takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darkest history with live actors, immersive sets and special effects. The experience brings the city’s murky past to life as you come face to face with Vikings and learn about their Saxon enemies, before meeting figures including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington.
The journey also covers the Black Plague and a fearsome torture chamber, with the story presented through sights, sounds and smells. It is a theatrical way to explore York’s “’orrible” history while you laugh, learn and scream your way through the attraction.

Children must be aged 5 or over. The York Dungeon is not recommended for under 8s.
