York Dungeon - Anytime Entry at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history, with live actors, immersive sets and special effects. The experience lets you see, hear and smell the city’s murky past.
Along the way, you meet Vikings and their Saxon enemies, as well as figures such as Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington. The show also includes the Black Death and a torture chamber scene, presenting parts of York’s history through live performance.

Children must be aged 5 and over. The York Dungeon is not recommended for under 8s.
