York Dungeon - Anytime Entry at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history in an immersive live experience. You encounter the Vikings and their Saxon enemies, and meet figures including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington as the city’s history is brought to life by live actors, dark sets and special effects.
The experience is designed to be seen, heard and smelled as you move through scenes including the Black Plague and a torture chamber. It combines historical stories with theatrical presentation to show York’s past in a direct, sensory way.
