York Dungeon - Anytime Entry at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history with live actors, immersive sets and special effects. The experience brings the city’s past to life with scenes from the Viking era, the Saxons and some of York’s most notorious characters.
You will meet figures including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington, and encounter the black plague and a torture chamber along the way. It is presented as a dark, theatrical journey through York’s murkier history.
Key facts: Anytime Entry. Younger visitors must be aged 5 and over, and the York Dungeon is not recommended for under 8s.
