WOB40 are once again wobbing into Wrexham and turning up the wubs and dubs to skank our way into St David's Day! Proudly uniting dub crews from across Wales and out of Bristol, representatives of Pressure Promotions, Stone Roots Sound and JATIN Soundsystem and WOB40 will be selecting nothing but the tastiest, bassiest reggae, dub and 140 riddims throughout the day and into the night.

About WOB40:

Launched by Queen Chubby in 2024 with the help of Beacons Cymru and Young Promoters Network, WOB40 is the proudly trans founded event and record label representing dubstep and 140 music in Wales. So far we have seen heavyweight names Gnasha, Chad Dubz, Lotu and Fearless Dread step into Wrexham to represent alongside our residents at our Saith Seren events and we have released one album and two singles in 2025 which can be found on wob40.bandcamp.com.

2026 will finally see WOB40 host a long-awaited rave at Eagles Meadow, those who have followed us from the start know it was Saith Seren who saved our 2024 launch rave by offering their space when the dance we had planned at Eagles Meadow fell through so, it is a real point of pride to be hosting this one 2 years after the launch and we are so grateful to Saith Seren for all they have done and continue to do for WOB40 and Wrecsam's independent music scene.

WOB40 residents have appeared at multiple events in The Lab throughout 2025 and we are proud to be collaborating with the team at the venue to make this event happen in a space that proudly supports underground culture in Wrexham.
