Strength and vulnerability, pain and euphoria, Jess Brett delivers pure emotion in her unique synth music influenced by new wave and post punk sounds and attitudes. This dark contrast of utter despair and defiant perseverance bleed from her raw and confessional songs. Driving arpeggios and melancholic melodies are accompanied by her powerful outcry of a voice.
Jess Brett is best experienced in full flow on stage where she exhausts herself through intense and honest expression. To stand before her is to witness the combustion of a dying star in an explosion of electronic energy as if each performance is her last. Themes of mental suffering, intense desire and existential tendencies burn brightly. Among a multitude of gripping singles, her self-released work to date includes EP, 'Eyeline' (2021), debut album, 'A Storm Of A Woman' (2023) and EP, 'Belle Of The Ball' (2025).
From Worcestershire, UK, in Berlin since May 2024, Jess has been thriving in the German capital, winning the hearts of Berliners at multiple gigs, a highpoint being supporting John Maus last summer. The buzz around her is growing quickly after the release of provocative new material as she continues to expand her global audience.
