Review of Gyro  Promotions Presents

Not value for money. 
Venue was awful.
Bar was expensive, drinks had been considerably increased in price, customers stated the drinks were not that price the week before! Barmaid asking the other barmaid how much drinks were and it was a made up price as it differed on the second purchase. 

2 Rooms of Music ?

One large room with a sound system that played for themselves. Balloons representing 'their' anniversary of playing. No sign of Happy New Year anywhere. No hype to get the crowd going. Midnight had gone before they started the countdown...  

2nd room 
Soul/RNB .. only 'one' DJ not the three advertised on the flyer. 
Room had a pool table in the middle, lights were on full whilst they played pool. Later it was covered up and lights off.  Dancing around a pool table for New Year ..

The live band appeared late we were 'told' to leave the soul room to see the band. Music was turned off in the soul room so that we had to go into the other room, this was clearly to make up the numbers. The band sang four? songs and left...



Over-all was a really disappointing new years night. People were allowed in wearing shorts! Caps trainers, hoodies, outdoor coats , no effort for the New Year  apart from some ladies  who looked beautiful. 

An abusive man was allowed in swearing at people and being really personal and disrespectful., he wasn't asked to leave! 

All in all.. I wish we could have seen how many tick*ts had been sold before purchasing as the venue was too big and split for the amount of people there. 

Recently found out this venue is let for free for events, yet £15.00 for tick*ts. That was over £100 between us all for New Year.

 I would never have paid that much for a tick*t for the venue or for how the night was. Sadly this was a complete let down for such a special occasion. 

This is a honest review as we were very disappointed.
