From Birmingham UK, home of reggae giants UB40, Rats In The Kitchen are the official UK number 1 UB40 Tribute Show and twice winners of the Agents Association National Tribute Music Award for best UB40 tribute band. They’ve now performed on 4 continents! after tours of Spain, Holland, India, Kenya and Barbados. More recently cruising the Caribbean Sea with P&O. And they’re keen to spread their wings even further.
They are a fully live seven piece band, formed in 1998, making them THE original UB40 tribute band, performing 2 hours of pulsating reggae hits now spanning more than 40 years! From early hits such as ‘King’, ‘Food For Thought’ and ‘Red Red Wine’ through to some of UB40’s most recent work. 25 years on and Rats in the kitchen still provide a great live show that draws audiences of all ages to new venues as well as to their many regular ones.
Join us for their return to the Sutton United stage, this August.
