Sun Print & Poetry Workshop

Facilitated by Mila Januszova, an accomplished artist and curator, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to delve into the realms of art and creativity guided by a seasoned professional. With a background in Fine Art and Curating, Mila brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, having graduated from MMU with honours in 2021 and currently pursuing an MA in Contemporary Curating. Mila's journey has seen collaborations with esteemed institutions such as Factory International, Manchester Poetry Library, Pankhurst Centre, and Pavement Gallery, grounding their work in a rich tapestry of experiences. 

Their artistic exploration spans diverse mediums, from cyanotype and typography to visual arts, textile art, and digital art. Drawing from their recent completion of the Facilitation and Creative Project Management Course at Factory Academy, Mila excels in fostering collaborative environments where creativity flourishes. Moreover, as a Venice Biennale 2024 Fellow with the British Council, Mila's upcoming residency experiences at AqB studio in Budapest and Zaratan – Arte Contemporânea in Lisbon promise to infuse fresh insights into thier practice. 

With a deep-rooted commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and creating platforms for minority communities, Mila's workshops are not only spaces for artistic exploration but also avenues for social change.
