Prepare to be entertained as The Attic presents the "Hampshire Comedian of the Year" competition sponsored by Catching the Custard promotions, featuring the most talented up and coming comedians in and around Hampshire. Join us as we get closer to the winner!

Hampshire Comedian of the Year Semi Final 1

After weeks of Heats, we are getting closer to naming the winner fo Hampshire Comedian of the Year. Get ready to witness the best up and coming comedians in and around Hampshire as they compete for the prestigious title of "Hampshire Comedian of the Year" at The Attic.

The Semi Finals and Grand Final will be decided by both the audience and judges. Contestants with the highest audience votes will advance, provided they rank in the top half of the judges' scores. After all the acts have performed, each audience member will have the chance to vote for two acts on their ticket. The results, revealing the performers who will move forward, will be announced on the day of the event.

In addition to the main competition, there will be special categories for young performers and Rookie of the Year. These participants will compete alongside others and will be judged separately in their respective categories. The winners in these additional categories will be selected from those who make it to the Grand Final.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to witness the rising stars of comedy in Hampshire!

Additional categories with a trophy up for grabs for young performer (30 and under), Female Comedian and Rookie of the year(those who have only started gigging in the last 18 months).Please notify us if you fall into either of these categories. These categories will be Judged, from those making the Grand Final.

There will be 12 contestants in each heat and all contestants should prepare a performance of no longer than 5 minutes or risk disqualification.

Entry Requirements:

The competition is open to any non-professional act who's been performing for 5 years or less and entries from character acts, musical acts and sketch groups are welcome. The only restriction is that all contestants must live in or around Hampshire up to a distance of 20 miles maximum.

Advance tickets are £10 or £12 on the door.

Semi Final 1 is at 3pm for a 4pm start. 

Semi Final 2 is at 7pm for a 8pm start.

Please note shows have adult themes and content so no under 14's and under 18's need to be accompanied by an adult.
