The City of Southampton Orchestra are back at Central Hall on 24th January 2026 for their annual Family Concert! They will be playing a selection of classical dance music from around the world, featuring members of the New Forest School of Dance and Alessandro Mackinnon-Botti, who is a chorister turned solo beatboxer!
There are 2 performances, one at 11am and the other 2pm. They are also asking for children to submit drawings based on dancing, dragons or cowboys. These will be shown on a big screen during our performances. You can submit these via their website and you can also purchase your tickets there.
This is primarily aimed at young children to get them into classical music, but younger and older children of all ages are more than welcome to come too.
Look forward to seeing you there!
