About

Event 1.0 of Season 4.0

Jonny Nash creates music that holds you close, comfortable, spacious and profoundly human. He's joined by his close friend Tomo Katsurada, with the pair performing in the beautiful, resonant surroundings of Shrewsbury Library. Expect drifting, swelling, transportive soundscapes that gently pull you inward.

Support comes from Glasgow-born guitarist and composer Christopher Haddow. Haddow experiments with guitar, field recordings and tape loops. His minimal, layered approach embraces the chance encounters that arise from sound-on-sound looping, creating evolving atmospheres that feel alive with unpredictability.

This Matinee is bookended by dear friend, supporter and local polymath Matt Sewell, bringing his own unique DJ sonic palette to complete what will be memorable afternoon.
