Grove, Zolatec, Angel Rites, MYNA

Calabash! presents Grove, Zolatec, Angel Rites and MYNA for a Black exploration of alternative music. 

All these artists infuse their heritage with alternative sounds from punk, to breakbeat and more to take us through a soundscape of their worlds and how they see the world around them. Expect everything from Post Punk, to Dancehall, to Steel Pan melodies over breakcore rhythms.

This event is part of Gut Level's Many Hands programme, funded by ACE. It is inspired by @aminaminaa ‘s series black is bright on @orokoradio which explored black artists in the alternative music space; post punk, metal, rock, and more.
