Where is Music in the Park?
Music in the Park is held at Worden Park, Worden Lane, Leyland, PR25 3DH.
How do I get into Music in the Park?
General admission tickets - Entry is via the entrance from the Worden Park car park gates, off Worden Lane opposite Vicarsfields Road.
VIP tickets - Entry is via the archway at the lodge entrance to the park off Worden Lane.
Disabled access - There will be disabled access at both of the entry points with the relevant type of ticket.
Can I bring children to Music in the Park?
The minimum age for entry into Music in the Park is 14 and all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
What time does Music in the Park start and finish?
The gates open at 2pm and we recommend you get there early as entertainment starts at 3pm! The event finishes around 10:00pm. Last entry is 6pm.
Can I leave the Music in the Park arena and then come back in?
Once your ticket has been scanned at the gate, re-entry to the festival is not permitted. If you leave the event you will not be able to get back in.
Can I bring a chair to Music in the Park?
You are welcome to bring chairs (these must be taken home with you at the end of the event).
Can I bring my own food/drink/alcohol to Music in the Park?
No food or drink is permitted with the exception of sealed water bottles or empty reusable bottle. There will be access to free water supply.
There will be fully stocked bars, and a large variety of food vendors that can provide for all dietary requirements. Security checks will be taking place upon entry.
Due to licensing restrictions, you are not permitted to bring alcohol into the arena. There are fully licensed bars available for you. Music in the Park will be operating and enforcing a strict Challenge 25 policy so if you are lucky enough to look 25 or younger, please make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification.
Valid forms of ID include:
- An in date photographic driver’s license or provisional licence.
- A valid passport (not a photocopy). Out of date passports will NOT be accepted.
- A Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card (showing the PASS hologram).
A bar with a wider choice of beers, wines and spirits, as well as non-alcoholic drinks is accessible to premium ticket holders only.
Can I bring my pet to Music in the Park?
No pets or other animals are allowed on site at Music in the Park except for registered assistance dogs and guide dogs.
What items are prohibited from Music in the Park?
Only 500ml sealed bottles of water are permitted (one per person). No other food or drink can be brought on to the event site – bins will be provided at the gates for disposal.
2.4 Lighters and matches are only to be used in permitted smoking areas.
2.5 The following are all prohibited items and may not be brought into the event. We are unable to guarantee the safe return of items to their owners, so please do not bring any of the following to the event with you – they will be removed and disposed of:
Umbrellas
Gazebos / tents
Illegal substances
Glass
Hi-visibility vests / tabards
Balloons
Flares / fireworks
Laser pens
Air horns
Aerosols
Paper lanterns
Candles
Alcohol
Drones
Unidentifiable substances
Any item that event staff deem as a weapon or a potential risk
