A sonic pallet of alternative heavy music from some of the most promising and emerging bands from the UK underground scene.
Expect pits, riffs, anthems, aggression and maybe even a dance.
the great nothing: Manchester's own alternative metal & post hardcore emergent - returning to The Ferret after their January headliner. Bringing disgusting 9 string rhythms blended with funky guitar work, anthemic choruses, upbeat drums paired crushing percussive energy all presented in an ever-evolving live show.
Cut Short: Liverpool based metal act come through with riffs on riffs on riffs - stank face tones, unrelenting energy and an equal weight of atmosphere that stands on its own, even pricking up the ears of Architects' own Sam Carter.  FFO: Heart of a Coward, Loathe
Take Breath: a true gem of the Manchester heavy music scene: Take Breath bring their own unique passionate blend of cinematic post-hardcore and wall-of-sound alt-metal blend whilst drawing on influences outside of heavy music that can be summed in three words "a total vibe".  FFO: Thornhill, Modern Error
Reckoner: bursting out of the midlands, post-hardcore heavyweights, reckoner have been quick to sell out headline shows with the success of strong single releases and explosive live shows being noted as "ones to watch". FFO: Underoath, Norma Jean, Every Time I Die
Auraboros: bringing to the table crushing riffs, heavy hitting breakdowns, intense vocals, mesmerizing leads and soaring melodies coupled with a live performance that brings a chaotic energy and emphasises a queer flavour to the music. AURABOROS showcase themselves as one of the most unique acts in the British metal scene. FFO: Architects, Ice Nine Kills, The Defiled
