About

In conjunction with Southsea Sound Studio - An evening of live electronic music and visuals with Keith Seatman (Castles In Space), Kieran Mahon (Castles In Space) Simon Heartfield and The Burning Trestle.

KEITH SEATMAN who has a new album out on Castles in Space in 2024 is 'a veteran of Peel and Andy Kershaw, Late Junction and Freak Zone sessions since the 1980s, specialises in crepuscular late night uneasy listening, which he’s honed over a series of albums and guest appearances. Sounding somewhere between Broadcast and Position Normal, found sounds, psychedelia, drones, wyrd folk, and electronica are his business, laced with the artefacts and trappings of childhood, playground chants, and hints of Folk Horror.'

KIERAN MAHON St. Leonard’s prime manipulator of drones, loops, and echoes. 'Kieran Mahon is perhaps best known for his long form ambient drone compositions, but his album Eternal Return (Castles In Space), there is something familiar yet different. The deep and dense textures are still there, but now underpinned with motorik beats and looping arpeggios.'
