Untamed Burlesque created in 2016 by Mx Violent May and has since moved to Bath to Chapel Arts Centre. But we are back to do one stunning show featuring some of the most kickass and UNTAMED burlesque performers the South West has to offer. All of this at the rockin Underground in the very heart of Mutley.

Untamed Burlesque is back for one final show in plymouth!

That’s right we are leaving the Ocean City but we are going out with a bang and have booked an international badass as well as some of Plymouth’s favourites! You really won’t want to miss this one! 

Cleopantha (she/her)
Voted Number 1 most influential burlesque figure twice in the UK, and currently ranked number 3 most influential burlesque artist in the world, Cleopantha has taken the international burlesque scene by storm. She is renown for pushing the boundaries of burlesque, fusing her high energy dance style with both humour and the art of tease. Having recently worked for the infamous Cardi B, performing at the rappers 30th birthday party in Los Angeles, Cleopantha is redefining what the majority believe burlesque to be. Her acts are in dedication to her love of music and culture and she is inspired by those who have been an important influence in her life. She is a London based artist but a proud northerner at heart, having been born and raised in the city of Manchester. Cleopantha trained professionally at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance before stepping into the glorious world of burlesque. Previous performances include Hebden Bridge Burlesque Festival, Bristol Burlesque Festival. Stuttgart Burlesque Festival and Manchester Burlesque Festival.

Betty Boom Boom (they/she)
Betty Boom Boom is a comedy burlesque performer, who has been performing and helping produce burlesque shows for over 11 years. They are a founding member of “Take it off Burlesque and Cabaret” based in Plymouth and have performed in the Bristol burlesque festival and in shows all over the South West. They definitely put the err?! into burlesque with what they do! Previous performances include: Exeter Yule Ball, Take It Off Burlesque and Bristol Burlesque Festival.

Violent May (they/them)
Sometimes a glam queerdo, othertimes a punky goblin; always an all round weirdo.Violent May is back to cause terror and chaos on stage! Organiser of Untamed Burlesque this performer will mess about with gender and your preconceptions of burlesque and drag  prepared for absolute chaos one last time Plymouth with the one and only Violent May! Previous performances include: Sexquisite, Plymouth Queer Pride and Frome Comic Convention. 

Sal De Bain (she/her)

Sal de Bain is a Burlesque performer hailing from the South West of England (despite her classy French name). Inspired by theatre and storytelling, she’s fiery, funny and always covered in sparkles. Sal has been lucky enough to perform in a number of shows since her Dec ‘21 debut, including Take it Off Burlesque and Cabaret, Moonlight Garden Cabaret, Untamed Burlesque Sleighing It Christmas Cabaret and more! Form an orderly queue...it’s Sal de Bain!

Ruby Rascal (she/her)
Ruby Rascal aims to tease. This Plymouth based neo-classic burlesque performer, incorporates the glamour of the past while embracing the bold and unexpected. Ruby invites audiences to join her in celebrating sensuality, self-love and the alluring magic of performance art. Previous performances include Take it Off Burlesque, Dr Sketchys and Miss Corset De Line

Fantastic Ms Fanny(she/they)
Resident MC of Untamed Burlesque, queer femme badass and Plymouth's Sexiest Vegan,  Fantastic Ms Fanny is legend of the Plymouth Burlesque scene, she's a performer, producer, teacher and your host for the evening! Expect comedy, glamour and smut! Previous performances include: Coochie Crunch, Take It Off Burlesque & Cabaret and FILTH
