BrokeNCYDE is an American crunkcore/hip-hop group from Albuquerque, New Mexico, formed in 2006 by Mikl (Mikal Shea) and Se7en (Josh “7” Williamson), later joined by Phat J (James “Phat J” Shaw) and Antz (David “Antz” Ybarra), known for pioneering the genre blending electronic, hip-hop, and screamo elements, gaining viral fame through MySpace with hits like "FreaXXX" before evolving into a duo with Mikl and Phat J, solidifying their "guilty pleasure" status and becoming cultural icons of the late 2000s scene.
