We booked Glamping which was a real disappointment....we were told it would have exclusive, hotel standard toilets and showers. This was not the case. 4 portaloos for 200 people (plus) and tiolet paper often ran out. 7  showers, again told it was for our exclusive use. Neither was true. Although we had paid almost £600 for glamping,  there was no security of staff on the gate, so it was a free for all. We also shared the field with many staff members who used these facilities, but with out the £600 tag. The field where the glamping tents was uneven and on a slope, and the grass had not been cut before erecting the tents, meaning inside was also uneven. Outside, due to not bothering to cut the grass, large thistles were everywhere. The VIP area which, for those who paid an extra £40,  only has one portaloo for the first two days....then another one was added. 
Not enough toilets; Not enough staff; Main gate was unstaffed during the late evening; No security on the VIP Glamping area....

I could go on but will finish by saying the bands were superb, the stages set up was good (although the poets tent was too close to another music stage and the speaker was often drowned  out and as Dawn French said when a band started up "What's that noise") prices were reasonable.

So yes to the event but a BIG NO to glamping and a formal complaint has gone in, although at the time of writing, no response from them!!
