Over 50 events, ranging from jazz, blues, soul, folk, rock, bluegrass, Americana to classical music. There's also a Regency tea dance, open mic and poetry sessions, a treasure trail and exhibitions featuring original work by local artists. Nearly all events are free. Events take place in pubs, cafes, restaurants all over the town and nearby villages and feature established performers and those just starting out. Highlights include blues and soul from Leicester-based Deiah Marie, blues, folk and Americana from Stella Hensley & The Magical Amigos, cool jazz from Epigone Jazz Ensemble, progressive rock, alt-folk and alternative rock from Stevie Jones and Dean Sheldrick, contemporary folk from CarterDolby, and rock'n'roll and indie music from Dusty Seagulls. You can also strip the willow at a ceilidh with Five String Thing, take part in the Big Folk Session or learn the dances of the Jane Austen period with Rutland Renaissance.
