Murmur Presents: Kenny Ken, Sweetpea + More

On Friday 5th December, murmur. returns to The Black Prince for a very special night of foundation Drum & Bass.

We’re going back to the roots of Drum & Bass with one of the scene’s most iconic figures, KENNY KEN. A true pioneer, Kenny is regarded as one of the founding fathers of jungle music, holding down legendary sets at AWOL, shaping the culture and inspiring generations along the way.

Joining him is SWEETPEA, bringing serious weight with releases on V Recordings and Sofa Sound, plus her own show on Rinse FM. A selector who represents the future of the sound, she’s guaranteed to take things deep.

Lining the bill are the murmur family: AON, BLAIR GRYLLS, HEEDLESS, JADEE and NEXGEN, the residents who’ve built our nights from the ground up and continue to push the sound forward in Northampton and beyond.

This one’s about paying homage to the foundation sounds while keeping it fresh, underground, and strictly for the heads. Expect basslines that built the scene, selections that push it forward, and a sweatbox rave powered by murmur.
