BIG BUD

A supremely stoked jungle producer who's recorded exclusively for 's Good Looking/Looking Good stable, Big Bud concentrates on the usual fusion-soaked reveries of breakbeat drum'n'bass. He debuted with a few 12" efforts ("Blue 52," "Emotionography," "State of Mind") for Good Looking and earned appearances on the compilations Earth 3 and Logical Progression 3. Though Big Bud was in danger of being washed away by the hordes of similar (though not as solid) producers attached to , the release of the single-artist full-length Infinity + Infinity in 1999 (a rarity for GL/LG) appeared to push Big Bud ahead of the pack. Undoubtedly one of the leading lights in the Drum & Bass scene, Nookie, aka Cloud Nine/Second Vision/New Balance (along with Blame), is London/Herts DJ/producer/artist/remixer Gavin Cheung.

2021 will see his Binary State project coming to life with 2 EPs and an album along with a brand new Nookie long player on Goldie's esteemed Metalheadz label.
