Chris Pope and The Chords UK are keeping the vibrancy of punk and the mod scene alive forged by the original incarnation of The Chords. Whilst The Chords were responsible for the revered singles ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ and ‘Something’s Missing’ in the late ‘70s, Chris Pope and The Chords UK are still releasing critically acclaimed material today.

Chris has been described by Paul Weller as "The best songwriter of his generation"...by UNCUT as "Savage as  Townsend with a toothache" & by VIVE LE ROCK as "Timeless song writing & understated brilliance".

Ten years of touring under his belt with the band,releasing three critically aclaimed albums "Take on Life" (2016) "Nowhere Land" (2018) & "Big City Dreams"(2021) Further to this in 2022 the band have toured Spain twice selling out gigs three times in Madrid..Played 5 USA shows on the west coast,Inc Vegas,LA & San Fran. Even had a full house at The 100 Club for the launch of "Big City Dreams" album..Continuing to entertain audiences at venues & festivals in Spain,Germany,Finland & the UK.

Energentic from start to finish "Jay R" sings ska,reggae & 2 tone songs from across the decades...Jason from the North East of England is no stranger to the music entertainment industry,as the former frontman of Madness tribute band "Beyond Madness" .Now following a solo career,continues to perform in venues up & down the country,in venues like "The Dublin Castle" & "Tybers"..Performing in packed out pubs/clubs & large music festival events like "Blam Blam Ska Festival" "Skaloween Dumfries" and many more..A popular entertainer with a portfolio to match,not to be missed.
