Having developed a cult following in London, Las Chanchas bring a contemporary interpretation of the hypnotic tropical cumbia that originated in the Amazon Rainforest to Newcastle. A hypnotic blend of Latin rhythms, South American roots music and 60s psychedelia and surf rock, this will be a gig that will be impossible not to groove to.
