About

A favourite of our customers from back in the Hoochie Coochie days, and formed by pioneers of the music known as Brit Funk, The Brit-Funk Association features a 10 piece collective of musicians with a core of Kenny Wellington, Breeze McKrieth, and David Baptiste who had a number of chart hits with Light Of The World and Beggar & Co. The band have performed sell-out shows in clubs and festivals in both the UK and Europe.

Expect a high-quality set of classic British Funkincluding Top 40 smashes, ‘Somebody Help Me Out, Time, Hi Tension, British Hustle, I’m So Happy, Mule Chant Number 2, Always There, and classic album tracks too - plus some of the great music that inspired them by bands like Kool & The Gang, all performed by original and founder members of the top bands of the genre.
