About

Myles Bullen + stebee + Faithful Johannes & Neocia

Covered in glitter, Myles Bullen is a genre- fluid, art-poet, ukulele- punk rapper, from Portland, Maine USA. Myles has toured nearly every state in the US, the UK, Japan and many European countries performing packed DIY shows at music venues, colleges, recovery centers, prisons, festivals, and libraries. As a person in long term recovery, Myles sings and screams songs about grief, mental health, addiction, navigating identity, relationships, and cartoon lore. Their sound has been described as “grief core, whimsical devastation, and upbeat sadness that leaves listeners feeling better somehow”

Myles has acquired a small dedicated fan base of patch sewing folk punks, dramatic poets who write by candlelight, newly sober folks who drink coffee at night, hip hop heads who stand in the back of the club nodding in approval, anti fascists baristas and coop cashiers, queer zine makers, and mams. Albums out on Fake Four Inc. and Back on the Grind Records.

Myles has played shows w/ Sage Francis, Kimya Dawson, billy woods, Codefendants, Brook Pridemore and Apes of the State and is touring in support of their phenomenal new album Afterlife produced by esteemed producer Factor Chandelier.

Support comes from stebee + Faithful Johannes & Neocia.

An introvert trapped inside the body of an extrovert. stebee (stylised lowercase) is the solo project of Steven Bardgett (they/he), singer, guitarist and songwriter in the band Mouses.

Bringing the same energy, passion and brutal honesty that has come to be expected from anything Mouses, stebee takes an eclectic mix of noise rock, garage punk, alt hip hop, jazz, folk and baroque pop to create a chaotic, erratic performance like no other.

What started in 2020 as a way to experiment outside of the Mouses scope, as well as a way to look deeper within and create art that was purely cathartic and therapeutic, stebee has expanded exponentially into something much more.

After a sold out scrappy folk-punk 7” release on North East label, Butterfly Effect, stebee has blossomed into a genre-less orb of unnerving self-reflection. Like an intense punk therapy session or the soundtrack to a nervous breakdown, stebee is flying the flag for self-acceptance, confronting your demons and shouting about all the things that are difficult to shout about.

It’s noisy. It’s beautiful. It’s vulnerable.

“…this was it, stebee was a true insight into how on the edge art should look.” Mark Cartright

“…bursts with vulnerability and, ultimately, joyful creation and acceptance of self.” Popoptica

Durham City rapper Faithful Johannes is a one-off. A performer, storyteller and musician, who weaves Alan Bennett-level observational humour with his own crippling social anxieties.

In 2024 he teamed up with producer Neocia for their critically acclaimed album The House at Night. A delicate study of childhood memories, familial relationships and parental angst, that places Johannes’ poetic forte at the front and centre of the North East scene. Crafted within an almost Lynchian framework, the album delves into a myriad of themes that range from the surreal to the all too real. Dreams and fears; pressures and expectations; nostalgia and present day realities. Johannes unloads his bars with a seemingly casual delivery that disarms the listener and eases them into the depth of his lyricism.

Off the back of a UK tours in 2024 and 2025, Faithful Johannes and Neocia combine live for a riveting, off kilter adventure, likely to include large cardboard signs, and personal messages being

handed out to the audience.
