About

Artisans of a sound both massive and delicate, HamaSaari bring together elements of both classic and contemporary progressive rock. Drawing inspiration from acts such as Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree and Karnivool, they carefully shape and refine a musical and sensory journey. The band draws us into a storm-laden ritual, evoking imagery like falling raindrops scattered through a dark, clouded atmosphere, yet pierced by welcome glimmers of hope

Formed in late 2020 and based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Midnight Jazz Club are a band rooted in Progressive Metal with unique branches of Post-Rock, Alternative Metal and Space-Rock. Prepare yourself for massive riffs, soaring builds, expansive time signatures, hard hitting choruses and energetic, transfixing & memorable live performances.

In 2023 MJC released their debut EP, 'The Haunt'. 'The Haunt' found the band melding towering Metal riffing with the dynamic song writing and transcendent atmospheres of Progressive Rock, most notably on live staple 'Stand'. Following the release the band made their first foray into the live environment and quickly gained a reputation as a powerful and exciting live band.

2025 saw the release of the band's second EP 'Obelisks'. 'Obelisks' took the core style of 'The Haunt' and expanded upon it to much greater heights with grander arrangements, harder hitting riffs and more complex rhythms. In support of the EP the band performed numerous amazing live shows including notable support slots alongside Dvne, Shy,Low, Hundred Year Old Man, A Burial at Sea, Codespeaker, Black Aleph, L.O.E, Helve and Polymath.

The anticipated follow up to 'Obelisks' will see release in 2026. The epic, conceptual piece further expands the bands sound with an even greater emphasis on atmosphere and mood while still delivering intense builds and crushing riffs. The release will also see the band introduce vocals to their sound for the first time.
