About

Committee of Sleep are a four-piece lo-fi pop band from the North of the UK, crafting textured, emotionally driven songs that drift between shoegaze, bedroom pop, and DIY experimentation. Fronted by songwriter Olly Lightfoot, whose 2022 cancer diagnosis informs much of the band’s lyrical landscape, their music explores themes of love, loss, renewal, and quiet gratitude. Blending nylon-string guitars, cascading drums, warm basslines, and hazy harmonics, the band create a sound that feels intimate, dreamlike, and deeply human.

Cybill Ends. Based in the North East of England. I make weird little lo-fi songs mixing electronic sounds with acoustic instruments. Recorded on cassette tapes and  battery powered portable 4 tracks around Teesside, a cabin in York and sitting on a bridge over the River Ouse. The songs keep jumping around like skipping records or scrolling reels on your phone. It’s hard to focus and emotions change so quickly. I think the music reflects that. They’re mostly honest and have loads of words.

Singer-songwriter Laura Cunningham makes music for anyone who’s ever felt unseen. Growing up with music as her refuge during the hard years, she writes the kind of honest, vulnerable songs that feel like someone finally gets it. Currently writing constantly and building her platform while booking live shows, Laura’s mission is simple: create the same safe space and sense of belonging that music gave her. Her songs don’t just entertain, they understand.

Emmanuelle Wrightson is a solo artist creating dreamy lo-fi indie songs, shaped by filmic textures, ambient production, and glitchy electronics. Blending ethereal atmosphere with raw emotional vocals, her music drifts between intimacy and abstraction, placing the listener in a space blending Warpaint, Radiohead, Kate Bush, and Massive Attack.
