Turner prize nominated and Fourth Plinth commissioned, David Shrigley has transformed the Gallery at sketch as part of a long-term programme of artist-conceived restaurants, with 239 works lining the restaurant’s walls.
India Mahdavi, who has created a backdrop for Shrigley’s artwork, conceived a soothing, monochromatic, strikingly comprehensive interior.
The exhibition continues on to the tables with new ceramic tableware: Crisp and clean with a touch of his signature humour, Shrigley has understood the dining table as an auxiliary exhibition space, a platform for the presentation of new work by himself and Master Chef, Pierre Gagnaire.
Afternoon Tea: Mon to Sat – 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Dinner: Mon to Sat – 6:30pm to 2am, Sun 6pm to 12am.
