Join our friendly and fun team of scientists and doctors, who will take you â€˜behind the scenesâ€™ and show you what happens in hospital labs with a variety of free hands-on activities, demos and displays. With something for all ages, this special National Pathology Week event is a unique chance to discover what pathologists do when they take samples of your wee, blood, poo or other bits of your body! Adventure through our five zones and uncover the secrets of the lab. Highlights include: DNA-themed Twister An interactive â€˜Journey of Blood-Samplesâ€™ activity Pathology-inspired art activities and displays Hands-on experiments and the chance to look at your cells under a microscope Audio about pathology and why it is important And so much more! This free event is open to all and no booking is required â€“ just turn up and have fun! Aimed at families and individuals interested in science. If you are interested in attending, just come along! Booking is not essential.
