Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy Club has a special night of comedy on Thursday July 2nd, hosted by Scott Bennett.

British Comedian of the Year Finalist, the incredible Scott Bennett who has appeared on 'The Royal Variety Performance' and 'Live at the Apollo', had his own Radio 4 show and is widely tipped in the industry as on the brink of the big time. He was also runner up Best Show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival and support for Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon and Micky Flanagan in arenas This loveable rising star enthrals the crowd with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic, who was busy entertaining people through the lockdown, with his 'Stand Up From The Shed' online show.

Topping the bill is actor, writer and stand-up the optimistic and exuberant Laura Lexx, who has appeared on 'Live at the Apollo', with her delightfully funny take on things. She immediately charms the audience with her quick quips and is happy to discuss anything. Her distinctive style is fantastically offbeat and hilarious, as well as both cheeky and charming, delivering even her sarcasm and irony with a sparkly grin.

Opening the night will be David Eagle, winner of Nottingham Comedy Festival New Comedian Of The Year and member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning band The Young'uns, with his various side-splitting-stories about being blind.

Completing the line-up will be the cheeky and cheerful Eddy Midgley with his relatable storytelling and fast moving set.
