Headliner: Ty'rone Haughton
Jamaican born poet. Multi-layered poetry focuses on social issues, identity and exploring the darkness within us all. Described as cutting-edge, challenging and “capturing the zeitgeist”.

Judges:

Sandra Pollock
Entrepreneur, and equality activist. Published author who runs SanRoo Publishing and is passionate about poetry.

Kyle Coare
Co-host of Get Mouthy. Described as a fearless voice that navigates the depths of the soul with unapologetic honesty.

Rob Reeves
Rob writes about the important things in life – relationships, drinking, shoes – as well as organising Run Your Tongue events since 2014.

Slam Etiquette:

• Three minutes per poet

• Points deducted for going over time

• No hate speech

• Three rounds of slam

• Original material only

• Judging panel will decide the winner

• Reading from a notebook/paper/phone allowed
