Japanese indie rock band DYGL come to Leeds for a rare UK headline show, presented by Fashion Alliance North's FAN Club.

Emerging from Tokyo's underground scene, DYGL have built an international following through their blend of sharp indie guitar music, post-punk energy, and transnational influences. Their sound moves between British indie traditions and American garage rock, while remaining distinctly their own: urgent, melodic, and built for live performance.

The band have toured globally across China, the USA, the UK and Europe, sharing stages with artists including Franz Ferdinand, Pavement, Beach Fossils, and Fontaines D.C., and appearing at major international festivals such as SXSW, Fuji Rock, and Summer Sonic.

Formed in 2012 at Meiji Gakuin University, DYGL have released five studio albums, including their debut Say Goodbye to Memory Den (produced with Albert Hammond Jr. and Gus Oberg), followed by Songs of Innocence & Experience (2019), A Daze In A Haze (2021), Thirst (2022), and Who's in the House? (2025).

This Leeds date is part of a limited UK run and offers a rare chance to see the band in an intimate setting.

Joining the bill are Hitlist, one of the most exciting emerging bands on the UK underground.

Recently signed to Monomyth Records, Hitlist are building serious momentum with their raw, high-energy sound and a growing reputation for intense live shows. Blending indie, post-punk and DIY attitude, they represent a new wave of British guitar music that feels immediate, restless, and uncompromising.

Having already made an impact on the live circuit, this set marks their second appearance as part of FAN Club.
