Acts Bios:
Hazel Urquhart:
Hazel first stepped into the comedy world while studying journalism in the central belt, cutting her teeth on the stages of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Since then, she's performed all over Scotland, from the Edinburgh Fringe to packed community halls in Thurso, earning a reputation for her witty, relatable storytelling and sharp observational humour.
Now she's back in the Highlands with fresh material, a new perspective, and her trademark charm fully intact.
Jenny Johnstone:
Susanna Wolfe:
Susanna, from a very early age, started her musical career training as a classical vocalist. Her childhood influences were Irish folk songs and Opera. However, as she became older, she discovered Rock Music, which was to become her first love. Moving into her teenage years, she started writing and performing her own songs. Her thirst for adventure led her to sing and write in many genres, working with an extensive variety of artists. The influences of Blues, New Wave and Traditional music, make their way into the songs she has written.
Moving to Scotland gave Susanna the opportunity to concentrate on her own material and develop her Solo career. As well as being a Singer/Songwriter and performer in her own right, Susanna has also worked as a session Vocalist for Martin Stephenson on many of the Albums he has produced, both for himself and other Artists. Her latest Album, "Mantras for Modern Times", was released 2022 via Bandcamp. The Album epitomises the diversity of musical genres that Susanna has embraced over the years. Produced by Martin Stephenson and featuring a wealth of relatable songs, "Mantras for Modern Times" takes you on a journey of emotional experiences. In May 2025, Susanna released her single "Crucify" to great acclaim. Produced by Steven Bull, Susanna returned to her Rock Roots. Currently, Susanna is playing throughout the Highlands and beyond as a solo performer. She is a passionate advocate for female musicians and encourages musicians to "Find Their Voice".
Sleekit Chiels:
A duo made up of two dafties hailing from Caithness and Sutherland. Expect covers and original songs, with a big serving of teuchter. Known for their oddities, political extremities (such as shelter, water and basic nutrition should be free), and being the bee's knees.
That Bloke and Herself:
Performing together for three and a half years ... after realising they had such a similar taste in music. The pair have gone on to write their own material, which is a mix of both their individual influences, whether it's lyrics or melody. They bounce off each other and create music magic.
Mina Taylor:
A Scottish singer-songwriter and musician based in Inverness, Highland, specializing in rock and alternative rock. She has developed a distinctive sound blending classic rock energy with modern alternative introspection, writing honest, relatable lyrics about struggle, resilience, and everyday life. Active since the early 2020s, she has released singles including Into the Dust (2022), Blood, Sweat & Tears (2023), Anxiety (2023/2024), and Breaking the Law (2024). She has performed alongside top local artists and is constantly recording and producing original work, sharing her music via Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
The Tuesday Accord:
It's change change change for the Tuesday Accord - again. As we shake off Winter and prepare for the 2026 season, there's already talk of new synth sounds, more layers of harmony, butt-loads of effects pedals - maybe we'll see the end of that old acoustic guitar, but probably not. Our pal Kirsty steps away, taking her complex, imaginative approach to harmony. Emma steps in to bring new vim, and her own velvet vocal sound. But we've not been hibernating either. After recently recording tracks with Steve Bull Productions, we have the next round of audio-goodies for you ears ready for release very soon. So with the calendar looking promising, and our enthusiasm undying, The Tuesday Accord can't wait to show you what we have for you this year!
With In Control:
With In Control are a new heavy rock/grunge band with some metal, prog and post hardcore flavours. Fans of Loathe, Holding Absence, Pearl Jam and Deftons might enjoy when we do. We are Lexa (vocals), Euan (drums), Fin (guitar) and Ciaran (bass) and we all live in or around Inverness and met via our love of heavy music. Our first single "Admit It" was released in May '26.
We want our music to serve a promise to the listener that although we may experience suffering and pain, if we hold on, keep moving forward and keep living it is possible to come through to the other side and that you aren't alone in doing so. "From Ruin" means we can emerge from the trauma and the pain and find a way forward. Our songs are emotive and raw and feature some difficult subjects but ultimately our band's message is one of hope, togetherness and support.
Unspeakable Monday:
Unspeakable Monday was formed on a regular Monday afternoon in 2021 by the band while studying music together at Edinburgh College. Since then; with songs written by Bekah, pounding drums by Xander, driving bass lines from Kris and ridiculous guitar parts from Will, the band has performed in most of Edinburgh's rock clubs, honing their original songs and band dynamic. When you listen to Unspeakable Monday you'll hear traces of Paramore, Rival Schools, Ghost, Fall Out Boy and The Pretty Reckless.
