About

The art festival at hay will be taking place in Hay-on-Wye. Known as "the Book Town", Hay has an unusually high concentration of secondhand bookshops. The town is on the east bank of the River Wye, in the Brecon Beacons National Park, just north of the Black Mountains. The nearest city is Hereford, some 22 miles (35 km) to the east. It boasts two Norman Castles, an eclectic mix of independent shops and lovely cafes.
